Caracal Neetlingshof Red

Full body with tannin on back end. Gets better with age.  Lots of plum in nose and first taste with cherry backend and tannin. Black fruit appears later in the pallate with a nice smoothness once decanted.

Smooths out with air.  Still a bit of backwards tanin with lots of plum. 

Espolon Tequilla Reposado

Rich notes of caramel on the nose with bountiful tropical fruit and spice on the mouth feel. Extremely delcious and smooth with a nice complex feel. Rich honey prevades the moutfeel too.

Camraderie Merlot

Beautiful Merlot, with plums and spices on the nose and blackberries on the first part of the taste. Cherries on the back end with a subtle acidity.  Medium bodied and good with food.

Well worth the 21$ I paid for it.

Definite oak tones throughout but not a strong buttery taste, just a bit of spice.

Apothic Dark

Gorgeous oak notes on the notes and throughout the taste. Its quite defined by its oak with tons of chocolate throughout to give it a very very dark feel. This is darkness personified, with just a touch of blackberry on the front of the pallate.

Calcareous Zinfandel

This Zinfandel is gorgeous. Beautiful smell of brown sugar with sweet but dry cherry and a subtle tanin on the finish.

Chocoate appears on the backend and plum appears as exposed to air.

Vistamar Gran Reserva

Big but smooth. Fruity on the nose but a small amount of acidity. Focuses on the red fruits with a smoothness and easy quality. Big overall.

Full body as well, governed well.

Touch of dryness on the end.

Montonico Port

Really excellent black currant on the nose. Some yummy black currant on the front of the tongue with caramel finish.

Plum appears on subsequent tastes

Sweet but excellent. A good quality port for cheap.
