Olema Pinot Noir

Not overly sweet, more dry. Focuses on lighter more red fruits versus darker. I gather more cherry and strawberry notes than anything else. Little spice on the back end.  Not overly heavy or full.

Ch Los Boldos Cab Tradition Reserve

Medium to full bodied fruit forward cherry centric cabernet. There is sort of a rustic earthy feel with the tannin on the backend. Raspberry hits you more on backend as well

Chateau Belingard Bergerac Rouge

Blackberry, oak in the nose. Blackberry cherry interceding lusciously and smoothly in the mouth feel with a smooth earthy finish. A much drier style too.

Second taste focused more on the cherry for me, as an earthy dry cherry wine.

Bushmills Whiskey

Very smooth with a ton of vanilla.

Grand Pacific Chardonnay

You get strong lemon on the nose with subtle apple coming second. In the mouthfeel lemon dominates front, apple middle and a pretty crisp finish. It is really owned by the citrus though moreso than the butter.

Taste 2. The mouthfeel is still largely dominanted by the citrus, but the apple comes through a little more with butter appearing on back.

Taste 3. Butter emerges stronger in later tastings.

Decoy by Duckhorn Cabernet

I'm a few drinks into this while writing this, so forgive me if I'm not perfect on my tasting note here. But, I get by in large a drier style medium bodied cab with plum on the front of the palate and cherry on the back. It's relatively smooth with more of a stick to your teeth style tanin. You get a bit of an herbiness, although I am not sure I qualify it as an olive flavor like the Total Wine and More website suggests.

I get a lot of vanilla in smell.  Cherry not as prevalent easily
