Pumking
Scent of a nice cinnamon coffee cake. Subtle flavor of pumpkin with present yet subtle pumpkin spice in finish.
Ommegang Grains of Truth
Subtle hoppiness and a little grainy flavor with a touch of velvety feeling. Goes down as easy as a larger.

Oak Ridge Zin
Easy Drinking. Dark Fruit. Nice pleasant smoky smell. More dark berry than plum. Not too sweet. Soft tannin but spicy finish.
Ommegang Three Philosophers
I don't know if I can give a clear picture on this one because I was just hanging out with my buds when drinking it but.... here we go.
Not too strong on hoppy spice, easy drinking, velvety, with a touch of fruit. Can't ID exact fruit

Carson Ridge Cabernet Paso Robles CA
It has a somewhat smoky nose. Furthermore, it has dark fruit in the mouth feel and a dry but soft finish. Its after taste lingers, but not too long.
This is not a very fruit forward wine as well.
Good if you want something easy to drink that is not too sweet.

First Wine Post. Chateau Rochemorin Rouge Pessac 2012
Chateau Rochemorin Rouge Pessac 2012
So for my readers, I'm hoping many of my posts will equal just a picture of the wine and what I personally tasted while tasting the wine.
This wine for me really lived up to it's billing having a herbaceousness running throughout the entirety of the wine. I also experienced a full bodied mouthfeel, subtle dark fruit, and a dry finish.

Introduction.
So it's after the election and I can finally distress. I'm not happy with the results, but at least its over and I can move on to much cooler, less controversial subjects.
Time to start something less controversial that I think will be liked. A wine blog!
I will begin to post as I can all my thoughts about the millions of wine's we learn about and take in as Wine Associates at Total Wine and More. I'm hoping this activity will be both for my benefit and yours, so I can catalog and remember what I've already drank and experienced, and so you all might learn about wines you've never had before.
Enjoy!
