Double Dog Dare Cabernet

It's a 4$ cabernet, so my expectations started on it pretty low. Having tasted it, my verdict is not bad. It is pretty easily drinkable with soft tannins, a subtle smoky nose, and a solid plum fruit. However, it's not very distinctive. There is not much about it that says truly wow!

To me, I'm left to conclude that this is the perfect wine, when your not trying to impress or have something of quality to match with food. Perhaps an everyday wine. Good match with steak, spaghetti and meatballs, etc.

Nice and beautiful plum/currant scent. No cherry acid.  Good dark fruit flavor with drying tannin quality but silky. 

Commodore Perry IPA

For fans of 60 minute IPA, they will probably like this one.  Average hoppiness to above average, easy down, crisp and refreshing

Pumking

Scent of a nice cinnamon coffee cake.  Subtle flavor of pumpkin with present yet subtle pumpkin spice in finish.

Ommegang Grains of Truth

Subtle hoppiness and a little grainy flavor with a touch of velvety feeling.  Goes down as easy as a larger.

Alvarez de Toledo

Grassy nose. Pear melon flavors in mouth feel.  Low acidity.  Quick finish.

Uro Toro Seleccion

Juicy tannins.  Nice red fruit.  Easy finish.  Smooth

Baronia del Montsant Flor. D'englora Garnacha

Perfect wine for Thanksgiving.

Nice awesome red fruit. Absolutely beautiful. Strawberries and Cranberries predominate.

Soft tannins, easy to down, easy drinking.

Olena Cabernet

Dry tannin finish.  Full bodied. Dark fruit. Slight acidity.  Lengthy finish. Smooth

Spicy blackberry nose. Dark fruit. Smooth.
Dry but smooth finish.

Oak Ridge Zin

Easy Drinking. Dark Fruit. Nice pleasant smoky smell. More dark berry than plum. Not too sweet. Soft tannin but spicy finish.

Ommegang Three Philosophers

I don't know if I can give a clear picture on this one because I was just hanging out with my buds when drinking it but.... here we go.

Not too strong on hoppy spice, easy drinking, velvety, with a touch of fruit. Can't ID exact fruit

Rondel Platinum

Made with the best grapes out of the Rondel brand.  Nice apple, apricot, aromas with dry mouth feel and lingering finish

Reserve Haut-Mouleyre Metallic

Grapefruit with a little bit of mineral in its mouth feel.  Grapefruit nose

Carson Ridge Cabernet Paso Robles CA

It has a somewhat smoky nose. Furthermore, it has dark fruit in the mouth feel and a dry but soft finish. Its after taste lingers, but not too long.

This is not a very fruit forward wine as well.

Good if you want something easy to drink that is not too sweet.

Chateau Guibon Blanc

Basically. This wine is citrus green apple in flavor. That's it lol. Pretty simple.

So for my readers, I'm hoping many of my posts will equal just a picture of the wine and what I personally tasted while tasting the wine.

This wine for me really lived up to it's billing having a herbaceousness running throughout the entirety of the wine. I also experienced a full bodied mouthfeel, subtle dark fruit, and a dry finish.
